Norwalk Police Hold Free Car Seat Check This Weekend

NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk Police will host a free car seat check this weekend to make sure that parents are properly installing car seats.

Police say that 73 percent of car seats are misused or improperly installed. You can avoid being part of that group by having your car seats checked by a certified child passenger safety technician.

The car seat check will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17 at Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Ave.
