NORWALK, Conn. – A Bridgeport man who police say has been trying to kill a Norwalk man was arrested early Friday for the third time in three days in Norwalk, police said.

Terrick "Skrappy" Vanlierop, 21, of 55 Park St., is accused of shooting at a 21-year-old Norwalker at 1 p.m. Monday near the South China Restaurant on Woodward Avenue in South Norwalk, police said. The Friday arrest was on charges in that shooting, police said.

The victim said Vanlierop and other members of the Money Green gang, also known as the Rolling 20s, want him dead because of where he lives, according to an affidavit filed at Norwalk Superior Court. It's an ongoing beef, he said, and people are getting shot at and killed.

The targeted man said 10 rounds were fired at him recently when he was on his bicycle at Novak Street, the affidavit says.

On Monday, the victim ran up Burritt Avenue as multiple shots were fired, the affidavit says. He heard bullets go past his arm and hit the bushes, the affidavit says.

Police say they found small bullet holes in several houses but no shell casings. Witnesses said one man had shot at another. Police investigated, developing the information that led to the arrest of Vanlierop, who was charged with criminal attempt and first-degree assault. Bond was set at $150,000.

Vanlierop was also arrested Thursday in another case. Police said he and Norwalk residents Daley Bancroft, 18, of 11 1/2 Isaac St., and Josh McCoy, 21, of 5 Osbourne St., were involved in an altercation Thursday afternoon at Briggs High School. The trio then got into a car and chased a Wheels Bus, yelling at its occupants every time the bus stopped to let people out, Sgt. Lisa Cotto said.

A complaint was called in to police at 3:08 p.m. Thursday. Police had originally been told that shots had been fired at the school, but officers said they found no evidence of that. Police were also told that the trio had shot at the bus, but the bus driver said that wasn't true and there were no bullet holes and no injuries, police said.

Vanlierop, McCoy and Bancroft were charged with breach of peace and second-degree  conspiracy in that incident. Bond was set at $5,000 each.

The trio were suspected of being involved in a Lexington Avenue shooting Tuesday evening, Lt. Paul Vinnet said. They were apprehended on Chestnut Street, arrested early Wednesday and charged with criminal trespass.

Lets burn down the hood and build expensive housing. That will solve the problem

I did not raise my son "in the hood" but yeah right more violence that will solve everything right? WRONG!

Jeanine you are a good mother & a good person. You don't have to defend yourself to these ppl. Love you. Hold your head up.

Just another stupid little punk!

One of them is a cops son. SMH.

What's wrong with his mouth?

Why are these guys not in jail?

There must be someone to it when this idiot is arrested three times in three days! And I am sure he wasn't trying to catch the Wheels bus to go to church.

Same on the courts if they let him out again.

Another upstanding citizen of society....why do they keep letting him out? Then they want to blame the guns. Its the courts that let these people back on the street. Luckily he didn't kill anyone, this time. Yes, he's definitely not the right guy...he didnt do nothin right? I mean, he was only arrested 3 days in a row...just an honor student who happened to be in the wrong place 3 days in a row. When you read this stuff its hard to imagine these kids live the life they do. Money Green Gang? Killing someone because of where they live? Such morons. There is nothing you can do with these people. They are beyond rehabilitation. Just put them, on an island somewhere surrounded by crocodiles and sharks and let them kill each other.

they are Wannabe's

Will this be yet another one where it was the wrong individual arrested ????
