NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Police Department will conduct a DUI checkpoint on Saturday, May 24, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. 

Norwalk police along with the Regional Motor Vehicle Task Force will be on West Avenue monitoring drivers.

The Regional Motor Vehicle Task Force members are from the Norwalk, New Canaan, Wilton and Weston police departments.

I fail to understand why the time and location of the checkpoints are announced. Doesn't that just make it easy for those who are imbibing to avoid that area?

Its about time the NPD is drug tested and monitored for drunks in their own group

They need to stop beating n people and the police union has to realize there is a problem with a man wearing a badge and STOP protecting the men in blue!! When they are wrong, they are strong!!
