Norwalk Police Charge Derby Man With String Of Commercial Burglaries

NORWALK, Conn. — Police charged a Derby man with breaking into a number of Norwalk businesses last October, according to the Hour.

The burglaries took place in the area of Main Avenue and Main Street, where police investigated break-ins or attempted break-ins at Domino's Pizza, Dirty Laundry, Mr. Sports and a Peruvian restaurant, according to the Hour. The Domino's experienced a break-in, as well as several cars that were broken into, the Hour reported. A window was smashed at the laundry business, while the other two businesses showed signs of attempted entry, according to the Hour.

Police reviewed evidence and security footage and identified 39-year-old Nicholas Reppenhagen as a suspect, the Hour reported. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he turned himself in on Monday and was charged with a number of offenses including third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and criminal mischief, according to the Hour.
