Norwalk Police Bust Six On Prostitution Charges In Undercover Sting

NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk Police arrested several people on prostitution charges Wednesday after a daylong undercover operation, police said.

Jason Prawl, 28, of Bridgeport was charged with promoting prostitution. His bond was set at $50,000, and his court date is March 18, police said.

Undercover officers used websites to respond to classified ads for individuals suspected of offering sex in exchange for money and arranged for meetings in Norwalk, police said.

Police to declined to identify the location of the meetings due to the ongoing nature of the investigation. Officers arrested six people from Connecticut and New York, police said. The arrests included:

• Jason Prawl, 28, of Bridgeport was charged with promoting prostitution. His bond was set at $50,000, and his court date is March 18, police said.

• Sean Lewis, 27, of Norwalk was charged with promoting prostitution. His bond was set at $1,000, and his court date is March 18, police said.

• Paula Koonce, 19, of the Bronx, N.Y. was charged with two counts of prostitution. Her bond was set at $1,500, and her court date is March 18, police said.

.• Paris Lacy, 23, of Bridgeport was charged with prostitution and possession of narcotics. Information on her bond was not available, and her court date is March 18, police said.

• Kaitlin Long, 25, was charged with prostitution. Police did not have information on her address. Her bond was set at $1,000, and her court date is March 18, police said.

• Shaquanna Wheeler, 30, was arrested on two charges of prostitution. Her bond was set at $1,500, and her court date is March 18, police said.

Officers conducted the operation with officers from a Connecticut State Police task force and the department's special victims unit, police said.
