Jeffrey Rogers, 33, and Jason Pratt, 25, were each arrested on multiple drug charges Wednesday morning, including possession of narcotics, possession of more than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession near a school, possession with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. Each was held on $50,000 bond and will appear in court Aug. 8.
The arrests were the result of an investigation over several months, police said. Police received complaints from several neighbors about the high volume of traffic going into and out of the Wilson Avenue house. Police obtained a search warrant and executed it Wednesday morning.
Inside the home officers found more than 50 grams of cocaine and about 1.5 pounds of marijuana, police said. They also found an elaborate growth setup to grow marijuana, according to police.
Five people were living in the home, though police said only Rogers and Pratt were responsible for the drugs. Pratt also has a background as an electrician, police said, and officers are investigating whether he bypassed the home's electrical meter to conceal the energy use required for the growth operation.
Both men were taken into custody without incident.
