Norwalk Man Gets 66 Months In Prison For Arson

NORWALK, Conn. -- A Norwalk man was sentenced to 66 months in prison after accepting a plea deal for setting a fire to a residence with a child inside, according to thehour.com.

Figidol Felix, 23, smashed through the window of a Bouton Street residence in April 2013 and started a fire with pieces of mail, thehour.com said. It spread to carpet in the stairwell, thehour.com said.

Felix initially rejected the plea deal but reconsidered after learning what his maximum sentence might be if he were convicted, thehour.com reported.
