Norwalk Man Charged With Walking Around Outside Naked

NORWALK, Conn. — A Norwalk man was arrested after police received a report that he was walking around outside naked and touching himself, according to the Hour.

Police responded to Cottage Street Wednesday night at around 11 p.m. and met with a neighbor who told them that Nelson Velez, 45, had been walking up and down the driveway touching himself, and then ran off when the cops showed up, the Hour reported. Police told the Hour that the officers met with Velez, who said he hadn't been walking outside naked.

After he was positively identified, he was taken into custody and charged with public indecency and breach of peace, the Hour reported. He was given a $25,000 bond and a court date of May 26, according to the Hour.
