NORWALK, Conn. -- A Norwalk man broke into a home and stole back a TV he had sold three days earlier, according to police.
Yony Grajales-Maya, 25, was charged with third-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny. He was held on $25,000 bond and will appear in court July 10.
Officers were called to a Hemlock Place home at around 7:20 p.m. on a report of a burglary, police said. The homeowner told police that he had come home and found that someone had forced their way into his home and stolen his television.
The resident said he had bought the Samsung flatscreen TV three days before from his acquaintance Grajales-Maya. He also said that Grajales-Maya had shown up earlier in the day and asked for the TV back, according to police reports. The homeowner said no.
Officers went to Grajales-Maya's home on Larsen Street and spoke with him. He admitted to the theft and was placed under arrest, according to police reports.
