NORWALK, Conn. — A Norwalk man was arrested Tuesday on charges that he sold crack to witnesses working with police, according to the Hour.
Police told the Hour that 36-year-old George Oliver of Norwalk sold crack cocaine to a cooperating witness in two controlled buys in May and June. Narcotics officers conducted surveillance during the buys, and the drugs were turned over as evidence, the Hour reported.
Oliver has a history of arrests dating back to 2002 and has had numerous run-ins with Norwalk police over the years, according to the Hour. He was even called "notorious" by a judge during his arraignment on Wednesday, the Hour reported.
Oliver was charged with two counts of possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
