Norwalk Man Charged With Assaulting Woman Over Missing Cellphone

NORWALK, Conn. -- A Norwalk man is facing assault charges stemming from an altercation with a woman over a misplaced cellphone, according to The Hour.

Ruben Munguia-Garcia, 47, was reportedly involved in a verbal altercation with the victim over the misplaced phone when things boiled over. The victim claimed Munguia-Garcia had been drinking and slammed her head into a door frame, The Hour reported.

Munguia-Garcia was taken into custody on Tuesday and charged with second-degree assault, criminal violation of a protective order and disorderly conduct, The Hour said.
