Carlos Gudino, 35, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, possession of narcotics, possession within distance of a school, possession with intent to sell, first-degree threatening and third-degree criminal trespassing. He was held on $20,000 bond and will appear in court March 16.

Officers were called to Loundsbury Avenue at 6 p.m., according to police reports. When officers arrived, Gudino was no longer lying in the snow, and they began searching the area for him.

One woman said he had been lying in the yard in front of her apartment building, and then had stood up and banged on the hood of her car, denting it, according to police. He continued to yell, not making any sense to witnesses, police said.

Officers eventually caught up with Gudino on Fair Street, police said. At first, he would not acknowledge the officers' presence, police said. He later told officers that all he did was bang on the car, according to police reports.

He told officers he was in the area visiting a friend, police said. Gudino was placed in handcuffs and officers patted him down, and found a quantity of crack cocaine in his pocket, police said. He told police that he had gotten into an altercation about a narcotics purchase, according to police reports. He was then taken into custody.
