Paul Curioli, 28, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, refusal to be fingerprinted and interfering with an officer. He was held on $5,000 bond and will appear in court Dec. 8.
At 1:30 a.m. Sunday officers on patrol on Washington Street were flagged down by an employee of the Loft. The employee said that Curioli had been causing a disturbance at the bar.
After employees received multiple complaints from patrons about Curioli's behavior, he was told to leave but refused, according to police reports. Curioli was reportedly intoxicated and had pushed one of the employees, police said.
The employee pointed out Curioli to the officers, who made contact with him. He was uncooperative and refused to identify himself, according to police reports.
Curioli yelled and swore at the officers, telling them that he did not have to talk to them, police said. He was taken into custody. At headquarters he refused to allow himself to be fingerprinted, and continued to yell profanities at officers, police said.
