The Norwalk Police Special Services Division identified Samuel Dejesus, 22, of Madison Street as a suspect in an investigation on drug sales in the city this summer, police said. In two separate incidents over the last few months, Dejesus sold crack cocaine to officers working undercover, Special Services Lt. Jim Walsh said Tuesday.

Investigators filed for a warrant for Dejesus’s arrest last week. Special Services officers spotted Dejesus on Day Street on Monday evening and arrested him on the warrant.

Dejesus was charged with two counts of sale of narcotics, with one added count for being within 1,500 feet of a school. He was held on $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court next on Sept. 26.
