Norwalk Man Accused Of Beating Up Sister's Boyfriend

NORWALK, Conn. – A 32-year-old Norwalk man allegedly assaulted his sister’s boyfriend Tuesday during an argument, police said.

The man punched the 27-year-old victim in the face during the 8:45 p.m. altercation. The victim did not require medical attention, but police said photographs were taken of the man’s face that showed swelling around one of his eyes.

Police said the victim went to his girlfriend’s Laura Street home to pick up his girlfriend and their baby. The man was there and began arguing with the victim, which resulted in the alleged assault.

The Norwalk man was charged with misdemeanor third-degree assault and breach of peace. He was held in lieu of a $2,500 bond and was scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Wednesday.
