Norwalk Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint

NORWALK, Conn. -- Two employees at a Norwalk gas station were robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday, and police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspects.

The robbery was reported at 3:21 a.m. Tuesday at the Sunoco Gas Station located at 126 Connecticut Ave., police said. Two black men wearing dark clothing and with their faces covered entered the gas station and robbed both employees. 

One of the suspects was armed with a dark-colored revolver and forced a clerk to move behind the counter after taking his cellphone, police said. Nobody was injured in the robbery, and no shots were fired.

Police are asking anybody with information about the incident or the identity of the suspects to contact them. Tips can be sent in through the tip line at 203-854-3111, or submitted anonymously at the Norwalk police website. Anonymous text tips can be submitted by typing "NPD" into the text field, followed by the message, and sending it to CRIMES (274637).
