Norwalk Fire Dept.'s Marine Unit Responds To Medical Emergency On Sound

NORWALK, Conn. — A Norwalk Fire Department marine unit responded to assist an oysterman fighting a medical emergency Monday on Long Island Sound, according to a report in The Hour.

The Norwalk Fire Department’s Marine Unit 238 rushed to help the oysterman, who was a member of a 56-foot vessel owned by Norm Bloom and Son/Copps Island Oysters. The man was not identified.
