NORWALK, Conn. – Motorists traveling along Strawberry Hill Avenue in Norwalk have been startled to discover that a new three-way stop sign has been added to the road at Tierney Street.
According to Norwalk Police Sgt. Lisa Cotto, the new sign was added earlier this month after construction altered the intersection.
The long stretch of road boasts two schools and a senior living facility, among numerous homes. A third school is just off Strawberry Hill.
Drivers are advised to remember that the sign has been installed and to proceed with caution.
