Norwalk Driver Charged With Leaving Scene Of Wilton Crash

WILTON — A 23-year-old Norwalk man was charged with fleeing after crashing his car into a stone wall in Wilton, according to the Hour.

Police told the Hour that in the middle of the day on Nov. 7, a Mustang went off the road and hit the wall on Nod Hill Road in Wilton, then went back into the road before hitting a wall on the other side of the road. When officers arrived on scene, the driver of the car had left, but the car was still there, according to the Hour.

Police were able to identify the driver as Thomas Carroll of Norwalk, and a warrant was issued for his arrest, according to the Hour. He turned himself on Nov. 25 and was charged with evading responsibility and failure to drive in the proper lane, according to the Hour.
