Police said the motorist was making a left turn in the area of 1365 Post Road E. when the accident occurred.
The investigating officer who responded to the crash noticed the driver was slurring his words, his eyes were glazed over, and he was swaying while standing in place. Additionally, the officer detected the odor of alcohol on the operator’s breath, police said. The driver also failed the standardized field sobriety tests, police said.
David Del Cin Zenito is charged with operating under the influence, operating a motor vehicle without a license and making an improper left turn. His bond was set at $2,500 and he was given a court date of Dec. 8.
There were no injuries in the crash.
