The shooting occurred at about 9:45 p.m. on Thursday around Keith Street and Taylor Avenue where three men were shot in the “lower extremities,” police said, and were treated at Norwalk Hospital. The injuries were not life threatening.

Police said a witness told officers that a car drove up to the victims as they were walking on Keith Street, and someone shot at the trio from the car.

The victims are not cooperating with police, so the department is seeking the public’s help. If anyone has information on the crime, contact Det. Justin Bisceglie at 203-854-3181.

In a second unrelated incident, police are investigating a stabbing on Lexington Avenue at about the same time as the shooting. After officers arrived at the scene, a man said a neighbor on Lexington slashed him across the neck during an argument, according to the department. The man was treated at the scene by EMS personnel.

The case remains under investigation because police said the victim and the neighbor gave conflicting accounts about the incident, so witnesses are being interviewed.
