NORWALK, Conn. A Norwalk man suffered a minor head injury early Friday when he was attacked by a group of three men near High and Wall streets, according to police.
The victim was treated in Norwalk Hospital following the 2:45 a.m. assault, at which time his cell phone and watch were stolen, said Sgt. Lisa Cotto. The man suffered an abrasion to his head, and he said he may have briefly lost consciousness during the attack. However, he was able to walk the mile from the scene to the hospital.
Police said the victim could not immediately give descriptions of the assailants, but detectives were scheduled to meet with him on Friday.
