NORWALK, Conn. – Norwalk burglary suspect Talib Robinson, 34, died Monday while in custody at the Bridgeport Correctional Center, according to authorities.

Robinson, of Bridgeport, was found unresponsive near his bed in the general dormitory area at about 10:10 p.m., said state Department of Correction spokesperson Andrius Banevicius.

Correctional Center staff administered life-saving procedures, and he was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport, where he was pronounced dead at 11:07 p.m.

Banevicius said State Police and the Corrections Department are conducting an internal investigation to determine how Robinson died. He said preliminary findings suggest the cause of death was medical.

“There does not appear to be any signs of foul play,” said Banevicius.

Robinson and 33-year-old Felicia Langley of Norwalk were accused of stealing $3,100 worth of items in August from a Lexington Avenue couple they knew.

Norwalk Police Sgt. Lisa Cotto declined to comment.

Who said God doesn't work in mysterious ways?!!

sad situation:

Of course there isn't any comment to be stated when you are at fault. This man was dead less then 24 hrs from booking. He clearly told BCC that he recently had surgery AND had a heart conditions in which he needed his medicine. Inmates screaming to seek help for him. They decided to ignore him until they felt up to checking up on him. And what was the out come. The warden is crapping on himself, not returning any phone calls...Hmmm why wouldn't you want to speak with his family. If he so called died from natural causes. Stating that BCC is doing an investigation. For what when its the staffs fault for not responding when they should've followed threw the proper channels of a sick inmate. As far as felicia langley its not cool to set up someone or somebody trying to get back at another person. Telling mr robinson that u were there to pick up a few things, and the same token u robbing this house blind folded. Now she should feel great...being dumped by your ex.....telling the cops that he was the one robbing the house...A WEDDING DRESS AT THAT. Now ms langley is on her own with all of these charges. Carmen is a B....question is...who are u going to blame this time around. Next court date Dec 19th...we shall see...
