Jeremy Andrew Dick, 24, of 1775 48th St., Brooklyn, and Kadeem Fanfair, 24, of 3 Jones Place, Yonkers, are each facing multiple charges of conspiracy, interfering with an officer and identity theft in connection with the case.

On Friday at about 6:20 p.m, New Canaan Police were dispatched to Walgreens on Pine Street for a report of an individual attempting to commit credit card fraud. Although the initial responding officers pursued Fanfair on foot after he left Walgreens, an additional responding officer who was in his patrol vehicle began to pursue a second suspect in a vehicle who was waiting for Fanfair to leave Walgreens, police said.

A subsequent motor vehicle pursuit occurred and ended when the suspects' vehicle and police vehicle crashed near Park Street and Richmond Hill Road, police said.

After the crash, Dick was taken into custody by pursuing officers and arrested on the above charges. Dick posted $10,000 bond and was released with a court date of July 7.

Fanfair was released on $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 7.

There were no reports of injuries.
