The victim "appears to have been high on PCP" and "was found naked," Harris said in a statement.

The fatal shooting took place at about 5:30 p.m., Harris said.

Bridgeport police were on the scene investigating Wednesday evening at the housing complex in the Hollow.

The man was found fatally shot multiple times in the basement entryway, but he may have been shot in a different area of the building, the Connecticut Post said.

Resident of the housing complex gathered with some of the victim's family members behind crime scene tape at the scene, the Post said.

The man's identity was not yet released by police.

It was the 21st homicide of the year in Bridgeport.  The most recent homicide was Sept. 14, when Eric Diaz, 19, of Bridgeport, was found shot to death at Newfield Avenue and Beardsley Street.
