The man called police at 11:18 a.m. Wednesday saying that he had walked out onto his front lawn to swing some golf clubs when he saw a silver Audi parked on the street that he did not recognize. He told police that he then saw a man in a dark mask drive speed off down the street in the Audi, bottoming out at the end of the street, police said.

Police checked the area and said that there had been forced entry into one of the houses in the man's neighborhood. There were pry marks to a window and the screen had been removed and was lying on the ground, according to police.

There were no indications what, if anything, had been taken from the house, according to police. The matter remains under investigation.
