Man Walking Home Robbed, Beaten By Two Assailants In Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. -- A man was sent to the hospital after two men punched and robbed him while he was walking home in Stamford on Monday morning, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Police told the Stamford Advocate that the man was on Henry Street walking home from a club on Atlantic Street where he had been drinking. Two men approached him and punched him in the face before stealing his wallet, the Stamford Advocate reported. The wallet contained $200 in cash, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The man was taken to Stamford Hospital for treatment, according to the Stamford Advocate. After police were notified of the robbery, they canvassed the neighborhood but were unable to locate the suspects, the Stamford Advocate reported.
