The 26-year-old man told police that he was entering the train station parking lot at around 9:11 p.m. when he was approached by a black man who pushed him and pulled out a knife. He then demanded that the victim give him his money. The victim gave him the cash in his wallet, and the robber ran off toward Mulvoy Street.
The man was not injured in the incident. When he reported it to police, he kept changing the location where the robbery took place, saying it took place by the entrance to the parking lot on Monroe Street, and then saying it took place a block away. He refused to provide a written statement. The incident remains under investigation.
