Robert "B.J." Hudson, 32, fired shots at his intended victim and the man's girlfriend in a car on Ann Street in Stamford, who then chased Hudson on I-95 with more shooting, police told the Advocate. No injuries were reported, police said.
The incident ended off Exit 16 in Norwalk, where more shots were fired, police told the Advocate.
Hudson was charged with attempted murder, possession of a pistol by a felon, unlawful discharge of a weapon, possession of a stolen firearm and reckless endangerment and was held on $500,000 bond, the Advocate said.
Shameka McNairn, 26, was also arrested in the incident, charged with conspiracy to commit attempted murder, reckless endangerment and conspiracy to commit reckless endangerment and held on $100,000 bond, the Advocate said.
Police are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone with information to call the Stamford Police Department's Detective Bureau at 203-977-4417.
