NORWALK, Conn. A man was seriously injured at a Norwalk park Tuesday evening in a fight, Norwalk police say.
The 19-year-old victim was "definitely under the influence" of PCP or some other hallucinogenic drug when he was assaulted by a group of people just before 5 p.m. at Flax Hill Park, Lt. Paul Vinnet said.
He was taken to Norwalk Hospital after getting preliminary treatment by paramedics in the park's basketball court. The victim had a broken jaw and possibly other facial injuries, Vinnet said.
Police have one suspect in particular, Vinnet said. They are looking for a tall black man with a muscular build, wearing a white tank top and blue gym shorts. Vinnet said he wasn't sure if the victim would be able to provide more information, given his reportedly drug-induced state.
