NORWALK, Conn. – A Bridgeport man faces harassment charges after he sent unwanted text messages, including lewd photos, to a Norwalk woman, according to police reports.
The woman told officers she had connected with a man she knew as “Tito,” over Facebook, police said. The man soon began claiming that the woman’s child was his, according to the police report. The victim denied having an intimate relationship with the suspect, police said.
The man continued to send text messages and Facebook posts to the woman, and in one instance sent a lewd photo, according to police reports. He also went to her home one day, and police were called to ask him to leave. He was not arrested at the time at the victim’s request, police said.
Police identified the suspect as Francisco Hernandez, 35, of Bridgeport, according to police reports. He was arrested Friday night after he returned uninvited to the victim’s home, police said.
Hernandez was charged with multiple counts of second-degree harassment, and one count of third-degree criminal trespassing. He was held on $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court Monday.
