I-95 Accident Closes Highway At Exit 9 In Darien

DARIEN, Conn. – An accident on southbound I-95 has closed the highway near exit 9 in Darien, according to the Connecticut State Police.

A state police dispatcher said that as of 6 p.m., one person was injured and taken to the hospital.

The entire section of highway at exit 9 in Darien is closed and drivers are being re-routed off I-95 toward the next entrance at exit 8. 

Drivers are strongly encouraged to find alternate routes.
