Lawrence Luchor, 45, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault. He was held on $2,500 bond and will appear in court on June 10.
Officers received a complaint Tuesday evening that someone was at the South Norwalk train station, going through garbage cans and throwing garbage on the ground, police said.
Security officers began to move toward the man, later identified as Luchor, when they were approached by a woman who said he had spit on her, police said.
When the security officers approached him, he spit on the chest of one of them, and then spit at the other but missed, police said. He then left the area, but he was located by officers and taken into custody, police said.
