The four newly appointed firefighters graduated from the Connecticut Fire Academy on Friday, Dec. 6, after 14 weeks of training. They start work Monday with an orientation before the ceremony. They will then be assigned to one of the department’s four platoons and begin a year’s work on probation status.

Thank you NFD for driving down my street tonight with all your Christmas Lights on ! You've done it every year for what seems like forever. If you ever stop that's when I'll stop believing in Santa and we can't have that!
