Chief Denis McCarthy, Mayor Harry Rilling and the Fire Commissioners will be issuing the recruits their oaths of service at Norwalk Fire Headquarters.
The four newly appointed firefighters graduated from the Connecticut Fire Academy on Friday, Dec. 6, after 14 weeks of training. They start work Monday with an orientation before the ceremony. They will then be assigned to one of the department’s four platoons and begin a year’s work on probation status.
The new firefighters are Konstantine Miraloitis, Nicholas Lipeika, Anthony Papacoda and Keith Zaffuto.
