Larry Morris Glucksman, 69, was charged Thursday with first-degree larceny after he allegedly diverted $157,378 from a client's estate between October 2013 and June 2014, police said. He was released after posting $25,000 bond.

He was arrested on larceny and forgery charges last year by Stamford Police after he allegedly forged signatures and a notary stamp in order to steal money from a client's estate, police said. He also sold sports memorabilia and secretly kept the proceeds from the rental of a property that belonged to the trust, police said. Police said the loss then amounted to about $60,000.

Glucksman gave up his law license last year after his arrest.
