Driver Suffers Injuries In Crash Into Naked Greens In Wilton

WILTON, Conn. — No charges have been filed against the driver who lost control of his car early Saturday and slammed into the Naked Greens restaurant on Danbury Road/Route 7 in Wilton, according to The Hour.

Zachary Prete, 20, of Orange, was northbound at 2:30 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of his car, traveled across the southbound lanes and slammed into the building at 239 Danbury Road, The Hour said.

Naked Greens, Reiki Sushi & Asian Bistro and Rose II Nails & Spa are all closed while repairs are made to the building. There was a gaping hole in the front of the building, with siding strewn on the sidewalk and electrical meters left hanging after the accident.

"The building sustained significant damage and will have to close for a few days while we repair everything," Naked Greens announced on Facebook. "We will be sure to keep you up to date on progress."

Prete was transported to Norwalk Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, The Hour said. 

Wilton Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
