The incident on Shadbush Lane was reported at around 5 p.m. on Monday. The owner of a 2012 Audi A6 told police that he had left his car parked in the driveway the night before with the doors unlocked.
When he came outside the next morning to go to work, the glove compartment and the center console were open, and papers were out of place, police said. The owner didn't believe anything was missing.
Two other vehicles in the driveway had been locked, and were left undisturbed, police said. A neighborhood canvass was conducted with negative results, and the investigation continues, police said.
