STAMFORD, Conn. — A road rage incident led to a couple getting assaulted in a parking lot in Stamford Wednesday evening, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Police told the Stamford Advocate that a man and woman driving on High Ridge Road at around 5:30 p.m. were cut off by a Honda Accord. When both cars pulled up to a light, the man and the driver of the Accord began yelling at each other, and eventually both cars pulled into the same parking lot, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The man and the driver of the Honda continued to yell at each other, at which point the Honda driver began to punch the man, according to the Stamford Advocate. Two more men arrived on scene and began to hit the man, and at one point the wife tried to intervene but was pushed to the ground, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The three men fled the scene, while the man and woman sought medical attention, the Stamford Advocate reported. The suspects have not yet been located.
