NORWALK, Conn. – An undisclosed amount of jewelry was reported stolen from a home on Fillow Street in Norwalk Thursday, according to police.
Lt. Praveen John said officers were summoned to the home by a burglary alarm at about 10:15 a.m. and found the rear sliding glass door had been pried open.
Several items in two bedrooms were thrown to the floor, but police do not suspect the thieves had time to go through the entire house once the alarm sounded. The stolen jewelry was in a small box in one of the bedrooms.

Instead of being so negative try to come up with ideas yourself to help our community or stop complaining. This happens everywhere... Even in small towns. The NPD are doing the best that they can with the resources that they have.
Cindy
See Cindy the way it works is I pay taxes for the NPD to do their job and not for me to do it for them...
Also yes it does happen in other towns, but not to the degree it does in Norwalk. These crimes also get solved by other police departments unlike Norwalk where they never get solved,,NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND?
The Norwalk crime wave continues While the police are wasting resources worry about prostitutes on craigslist..Only at the NPD.
