NORWALK, Conn. – Two Norwalk men were arrested on second-degree assault charges Wednesday in connection with an altercation on South Main Street, police said.
Juan Jimenez, 37, and Roberto Landrau, 52, both of Taylor Avenue, were charged with the felonies following the 11:30 a.m. altercation, which police are still piecing together.
Police said Landrau told officers that Jimenez sliced him in the head with a knife, while Jimenez denied that claim and said Landrau struck him with a club. Both men were treated for minor injuries and released from Norwalk Hospital.
A witness said the two appeared to be arguing over money before the altercation escalated, police said.
Both suspects were released after posting $1,000 bonds and are scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on March 14.

Who knows or cares, I'm surprised a fight is a felony these days though.
Arguing about money or drugs? Or maybe DRUG MONEY!
