Computer, Cash Stolen From Porsche In Bertucci's Parking Lot In Darien

DARIEN, Conn. -- Somebody smashed the window of a Porsche parked at Bertucci's in Darien last week and stole a computer, according to police.

At around 7:45 p.m. on Monday, June 19, police were called to the parking lot of Bertucci's, located at 54 Post Road. The complainants said that they parked their 2017 Porsche Cayenne and went into the restaurant to eat dinner. 

When they returned about 40 minutes later, the rear right window of the car had been broken. Taken was a tote bag, an Apple MacBook Pro computer, and a wallet containing $200 cash, police said.

Police said they are continuing to investigate the incident, and there are no known suspects at this time.
