April Grisanti has been missing since the last disturbance between her and Aaron, which occurred on Jan. 31, 1985, at 11:30 p.m. at Anthony's Bar, 174 Main St., according to Norwalk police.
Just after midnight on Feb. 1, Grisanti went across the street to use a pay phone to call for a ride, police said.
That is when several witnesses reported that Aaron exited Anthony’s Bar and forced her into his blue Cadillac that was parked in front of the bar and drove north on Main Street with Grisanti in the vehicle and fighting, according to police.
Witnesses observed Aaron’s vehicle turn left onto New Canaan Avenue, police said.
The same day at around 12:30 p.m., friends of Grisanti went to Norwalk Police headquarters to report her missing after she did not show up to work, said police.
The investigation led to the arrest of Aaron. He was convicted of second-degree kidnapping and unlawful restraint and sentenced to 10 years and 4 years in prison, respectively, said police.
Aaron was discharged from prison on Dec. 9, 1991, according to police.
Aaron’s first wife, Mary Frattalone-Aaron, also went missing on July 2, 1981, from Aaron’s residence. Her remains were discovered Aug. 1, 1981, in the woods just behind the commuter lot on Route 123 in Norwalk, police said.
The Mary Frattalone investigation is being handled by the Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime Squad.
As of this date, the family and friends of Grisanti have never heard from her nor have her remains been located, according to police.
