Carbon Monoxide Leak Sends Six To Hospital In South Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. – Six people were hospitalized Saturday night after a carbon monoxide leak due to a malfunctioning furnace in a house on Woodward Avenue in South Norwalk, according to WTNH-TV.

Two adults were unconscious, said Norwalk fire officials, who found high levels of carbon monoxide in the multifamily house, WTNH said. 

Carbon monoxide is dubbed the “silent killer” because it is both colorless and odorless, making it virtually undetectable.
