Officers were dispatched to the rink on Old Kings Highway North on a report of a robbery and met with the owner of a 2017 Nissan Rogue. She told police that she had parked the car on the side of the building at around 1:30 p.m. While inside the rink, an announcement was made at around 2:50 p.m. that a car matching hers had been seen with its windows smashed.

She went outside and saw that windows had been smashed, and that two purses that had been left inside the car were missing. The purses contained numerous credit, debit, ID and gift cards, as well as checks and a small amount of cash, police said.

No video recordings or witnesses to the incident were discovered, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
