Police received a call at 11:19 a.m. Saturday reporting the accident, which occurred on Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield. The car hit a boulder and then a pine tree, police said.

The car traveled 58 feet in total off the road, police said, and 25 feet through the air. Police said the car rolled over during the accident.

The woman was driving a 2006 Acrua RSX, police said. She was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, police said.

She told police that she had no major medical issues that would cause her to lose control of her car. While talking to the woman, police said they determined she was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The woman said swerved to the right and off the road after the airbags deployed, police said.
