Police arrested Dayvon Williams on a warrant on Wednesday and charged him with second-degree sexual assault, the Hour reported. While many details of the sexual assault were not release, police told the Hour that Williams knew the woman and that it was not a random act.
After the warrant was issued for his arrest, U.S. marshals took him into custody and Norwalk detectives brought him back from court in Manhattan, the Hour reported. His bond was set at $25,000 and he was given an Aug. 25 court date.
