NORWALK, Conn. — A Norwalk woman was stabbed multiple times Saturday by a Bronx man who was later arrested and charged in the assault, according to the Hour.
The woman in her 30s was hospitalized in serious condition after suffering multiple stab wounds on Winfield Street at around 6 a.m. Saturday, according to the Hour. Police responded to the emergency medical call and later picked up and charged 36-year-old Clifton Cole, the Hour reported.
Cole was charged with first-degree assault, possession of a deadly weapon, and two counts of risk of injury to a minor, according to the Hour. He was held on a $750,000 bond and appeared in court on Monday, where a judge issued a protective order against Cole to keep him away from the woman and two children who were home during the time of the attack, the Hour reported.
