Bridgeport, Norwalk Police Arrest Bridgeport Man On Drug Charges

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Bridgeport, Norwalk and state police arrested a Bridgeport man Thursday, Sept. 25, on warrants related to the sale of drugs.

Jarvin Graves, 27, was charged with three counts of sale of narcotics and sale of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of heroin and possession of heroin within 1,500 feet of a school. He was held on a $200,000 bond and went to court Friday.

The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Statewide Firearms Trafficking Task Force, the Norwalk Police Special Services Unit, the Bridgeport Police Department and the State Police Gang Unit. Police said that based on the investigation, arrest warrants for Graves were applied for. He was taken into custody Thursday in Bridgeport near the intersection of Clinton Avenue and Elmwood Avenue.

Police said that Graves had crack and heroin on him when he was taken into custody. A search warrant was also conducted at his home on Elmwood Place. Police said they found 10 grams of cocaine and assorted drug paraphernalia in his home.
