The Bridgeport man was found hiding in a bedroom closet when police came calling for him yesterday in connection with a house burglary this summer in Norwalk, police said.

Three years ago, Davis, 27, was arrested hiding under a bed of Strawberry Hill Avenue home after police responded to a break-in at the home, according to a story in The Hour.

In the most recent incident, a 21-year-old man startled Davis who was trying to break into a Norwalk home on July 18 through a kitchen window in the rear of the residence, police said. The suspect fled and jumped over a neighbor's residence.

Fingerprint evidence was found at the scene that tied Davis to the break-in, according to police. Norwalk detectives joined Bridgeport Police Thursday as they went to his new residence at 63 Pearl Harbor Place. They were able to enter the residence and after a search found him hiding in a bedroom closet, police said.

He was charged with second-degree burglary and bond was set at $50,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 7.
