Support Norwalk Police Activities League At Beer Tasting, Silent Auction

NORWALK, Conn. -- A beer tasting and silent auction to benefit the Norwalk Police Activities League is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 6, at Norwalk Inn and Conference Center.

The league is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the youths of Norwalk positive alternatives to idleness and delinquency that can lead to crime. It provides cultural, educational and athletic experiences to youngsters who are in the greatest need of leadership, guidance and understanding.

Tickets are $25 (donation) in advance; $30 at the door.

All proceeds benefit the Norwalk Police Benevolent Activities League.

The event is from 6-9 p.m. at the Inn, 99 East Ave., Norwalk.
